2012
Edward Smoked Meat was born in 2012 at 680 De Montbrun in Boucherville, displaying the art of smoking meat in a warm and friendly atmosphere. In our industrial-retro décor, our first customers were welcomed to savor the authentic flavor of our smoked meat, huge hotdogs and chef’s kiss poutines. We had room for 38 guests (46 when the patio was open), and we quickly became a place to enjoy good food with friends.
2019
In 2019, chef Pierre-Luc Lavoie and his partners acquired the Edward Smoked Meat banner with the desire to push it to new heights. They were passionate about the restaurant and they modernized the menu, adding a variety of smoked products and more and even more exquisite recipes. From Texas brisket to smoked potato salad to smoked pulled pork, their creations won the hearts of thousands of customers over the weeks.
2021
In 2021, we opened our second restaurant in the new “Marché des Promenades” section in Les Promenades Saint-Bruno. It was designed as an express facility, offering a reduced version of our menu, and it also offered a variety of take-out meals for a successful “smoked-meat night” at home.
